Mason, Rylan, and Elli
This month was….
Uncle Tony and Janelle’s visit
shooting pictures all day for a Day in the Life of our family on a regular school day
Mommy’s birthday (Daddy took off work so we could go on a date to Harrisonburg, then Panera with the family in the evening)
Mason’s birthday (Ciro’s and trampoline park with Levi, then evening spur-of-the-moment supper at Jenny’s house)
Kings Dominion with Nonni, Poppy, Uncle Tony, and Aunt Janelle (torrential downpour at one time before we ate lunch, and then closing the park at 4:30 but we get to go back for free)
Mason’s birthday party (in the gym at church because it was too cold to be outside; walking tacos and fondue; kickball game at the end of the party)
Birthday parties for Zane and Harley (Ridgeview Park and Massanutten Water Park)
GCS auction (Mommy took pictures for the school)
Boys (+ Janelle) trip to DC to see the Nationals vs. Pirates (left from the auction; stayed in Air BnB house the night before; Poppy picked them up at the airport at midnight; Pirates won in a close game; tornado warnings on the way back; Mommy, Elli, and Nonni went to Rebecca’s shower on Sunday afternoon, and hung out for about an hour before the boys got home to avoid the tornado scare)
Mommy’s date with Ry (to the Cheese Shop for sandwiches and a donut and ice cream; pouring rain outside, then mall to play in play place; then pet store to look around; then pick up Mason from school)
allergies that weren’t terrible for Mommy except for the sinus infection thing that happened right in the middle of the month
visit with Nana
Uncle Tony’s “birthday meal” a few months early
Easter (small lunch, then big spaghetti supper with family; ping pong games; coloring eggs; Easter egg hunt)
birthday shopping day with Nonni (and Elli and Rylan; lunch at Chick fil A)
Park to Park (Daddy, Poppy, and Nonni all ran it; they were all mostly happy with their times)
I might be missing things…..but I am so late in writing this that this is the best I’m gonna be able to do this month. I think I got the main points on here. :)
Elli, I’ll add your favorite words in here since most of them don’t quite go in the quotes yet…… No, Dad-Dye!; Ry Ry boo-bee??? (boo-boo); Awwww!!; Me???; Uh huh!!! (while nodding vigorously); ahh-oyy (all done/gone); moi/moy (more); I cheeee (I’m scaaared); chrreeeese?? (Pleeeease?); cheese; shee-shees (shoes); tree-tree (drink); Boys!; Bubby; Poppy; Nonni; Mommy; Daddy; then lots of made up sign language for things like scissors, car, dumping motions, etc. You also like to say hi to anyone you see at the store. Then you say, “Mommy, ah ah ‘hi!!’”
Here are the rest of the quotes! We have quite a few this month.
“I think it was either a centipede or a panillapede that I smashed!”
“I want a birthright. What’s my birthright? I want to rule over Rylan and Elli.”
“I got you two flowers. One is a pretty flower. The other one is because it’s purple so it might grow grapes!”
“Mama, Tip knows how to say ‘yes’ but not in a meowing voice! He can only do ‘yes’ and ‘no’ in sign language.”
“Mommy, I’ll like when I grow up because I’ll be able to put whatever I want in my coffee! I wonder what I’ll put. Maybe a little creamer?”
“Don’t eat it too fast or you’ll burn your face down!”
“Guess what the lobster did!! He disguised himself as a dead frog!!”
“I don’t care about tasting blood, cause it doesn’t taste like anything.”
”It tastes like silverware!”
“Mommy, I have a question. Does ham come from chicken?”
“Mommy, what if every place got sprayed by a skunk?? ....except for Waffle House?”
“You smell really good.”
”It’s Mason. He sprayed my perfume in his hair.”
“I niiiiice!!!”
I love you three!
